Just to clear a few things up about the pricing at the new Indian Hills MX track within the State Fair Grounds in DuQuoin ILL.

This weekend will be a normal D-18 points race.

The normal D-18 points race fees are $10 per day gate fee and $30 per class. These fees have not changed one bit for this weekend. If you want to race the D-18 points race you will be charged a $10 gate fee and $30 per class.

The Mid-America series is following the same fees as D-18 so the Mid-America race on Monday has a $10 gate fee and $30 entry fee.

Same as always!

Practice fees on Saturday are $20 PER RIDER just like it is at every other D-18 points race.

The extra fees!

The Fair ground gets a percentage of all gate fees and we can not, NOT charge gate fees for any day. This means we must charge a gate fee for every day we let motorcycles on the track. So yes, there is a $10 gate fee for Saturdays practice. We did talk them into letting us take $5 off for anyone paying up front for all three days. So it really turns into $5 extra if your riding all weekend.

The fair grounds charges $20 for anyone that spends the night anywhere on the fair grounds. They charge the same price if you sleep in a sleeping bag on the ground or have fully hooked up motor-home. But keep in mind, even if your sleeping on the ground in a sleeping bag you you can still take a shower, take a crap in a real restroom, and brush your teeth in a real sink just like if you where at home.

Indian Hills MX is basically leasing half of the fair grounds for each event so we must buy extra insurance for every day we lease the grounds. To cover this cost the Fair Grounds allowed us to charge $10 more for each RV hook up site. You are very welcome to each night, move outside of the part of the fair grounds we have leased and save $10 and move back in the next day. You will not be allowed to ride your motorcycle in any part of the fair grounds other than the part we have leased.

You will be required to have a pit vehicle pass on any pit vehicles. For this race these passes are FREE for this event but you must have one. The number on the pass must be associated with a rider. No matter who is on/in the pit vehicles when they are doing anything wrong, the rider who's name is on the pass will be DQed! There will be a charge for these passes at any of the nationals held at Indian Hills.

Indian Hills MX, LLC will not make any money holding D-18 events at this facility. The money is just not there. But we needed to have a trial run and this is the best we could come up with. Irvine, Calif. - Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green support staff embarks on an amateur motocross tour which will feature 10 races in 10 weeks culminating with the AMA Amateur National Championship at Loretta Lynn's beginning July 30, 2012. Team Green has been a supporter of Loretta Lynn's since the beginning, and continues to travel the country supporting tomorrow's stars.

For the month of June, Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green's trackside support will travel to six Loretta Lynn's Regional qualifiers which include both amateur and youth classes. The next stop is to the prestigious Mammoth Motocross at Mammoth Mountain, Calif., June 21 to July 1, 2012. Team Green athletes will compete for the coveted "Wooden Bear" trophies and enjoy a week of fun and racing as a prequel to Loretta Lynn's.

In July, riders have two traditional events leading up to Loretta Lynn's. First stop is the Kawasaki Tennessee State Championship at Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, Tenn., July 13-15 followed back to back with the Ponca City Amateur Motocross Championships July 21-26, 2012. Team Green has been a long time supporter of Ponca City and AMBUCS/ABC Race Association and will continue to support their revamped amateur motocross championship this year.

"It is busy every summer for us at Team Green, but also very rewarding," said Team Green Supervisor Ryan Holliday. "With big races like Mammoth and Ponca City on the schedule we are looking forward to supporting those historic events leading up to opening Greenville at Loretta's."

The road to the AMA Amateur National Championship at Loretta Lynn's includes some of the countries best motocross facilities and will feature thousands of Kawasaki riders competing against the best amateur athletes. Kawasaki trackside support and contingency strives to help our athletes achieve their goals and reward them for choosing the KXT brand.
